I love when they do that - I think it also lowers the risk of people wandering on to the building site. Some people stand and play "foreman" for ages!

In Toronto when they were building the subway, they did this in the board fences and named them, "Sidewalk Superintendants"! Pat's Photos and Guelph Daily Photo
