there is no C in prius

Now these two require some background info. Lets start with the left one.

Sky is a company producing television channels which need to be paid for. They are available via many different deals for which the television obsessed British population pays lots of money - in addition to the already quite expensive TV license. One of those deals is the one offered by Virgin Media who will bring you a box to your house for getting lots of TV channels and many other stuff as well - if you are their customer. Because Sky wanted to double the fees they charge Virgin Media for broadcasting their content, Virgin Media said: f*** you, we just don't broadcast you any more. Because Sky is the only channel in the UK with rights for Lost (which according to my information is yet another series), Virgin Media customer were not able to watch the new episodes of Lost any more. Hence Sky put up a campaign encouraging users to switch to their own offer for a box (ie not going with Virgin Media any more). As far as I can see this is sort of resolved now, this article gives a nice and biased overview over the ongoings.

The right one.

Prius is a car by Toyota with a hybrid engine, which uses less fuel than a similarly sized conventional car would. The C stands for Congestion Charge. Everyone who wants to drive in central London has to pay £8 per day (with exception). The zone, in which this applies has recently been extended. Fuel economic cars with new engine technologies like the Prius are, however, exempt from paying the C-Charge. Hence there is no C in Prius. I knew that anyway.

Regarding losing the TV show, "Lost," I have great news for you Londoners!

You can watch it FREE online! Just go to ABC's Website (maker of Lost) and choose which episode you want to see! Actually, all their shows are listed, including "Gray's Anatomy" and many others.
