imperial war museum

The last week I have been in sunny south Germany but posting London pictures continued magically. Tomorrow night Ryanair is going to get me back into Stansted. With a guest. Now I do something strange: Even though I am the London blogger and (most of) you aren't, I ask you whether you have any recommendations of where to go with a 13 year old tourist. On the list so far: Madam Toussaud's (never been there!), London Dungeon and a boat trip down to Greenwich. Anything else important?

The war museum looks like a place any 13-year old would enjoy. We have the United States Air Force Museum near us and it is always filled with young people from all over the world.

The big parks, Buckingham Palace, the Eye, the Transit Museum, any of the big museums, shopping, hanging out in Trafalgar Square, the Tate Modern, at least to sit and watch the river go by....
(Now I'm a Canadian who's only ever been a tourist in London....)
